The new global economic landscape has led to a revision of many of the rules, principles and values that used to inspire how the economy worked and business decisions were made.

The aim now is to arrive at a more balanced and sustainable model of development, based on a different way of viewing the economy, resources, patterns of consumption and, in this particular case, construction systems.

ULMA Architectural Solutions’ commitment to sustainability, the environment and energy efficiency are manifest in this document, which outlines ULMA’s contribution to LEED Certification, which depending on each project, can total a maximum 32 points out 100 distributed across the seven categories analysed:

  1. Sustainable sites.
  2. Water efficiency.
  3. Energy and atmosphere.
  4. Materials and resources.
  5. Indoor environmental quality.
  6. Management innovation.
  7. Regional priorities.

LEED provides a comprehensive framework for assessing the efficiency of buildings and their commitment to sustainability, and therefore a commitment to LEED is also a commitment by ULMA Architectural Solutions to a new, more balanced, sustainable and environmentally friendly approach.
